Job summary

Cherry Bekaert is seeking a Financial & Accounting Outsourcing Intern in Nashville to contribute to client projects, perform qualitative and quantitative analysis using Excel, and support workflow mapping and process documentation.

You will assist with accounts receivable/payable, balance sheet reconciliation, and client assessments, while learning cloud computing practices and regulatory considerations. This internship offers exposure to diverse clients and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or master's degree in accounting or finance.
• CPA pursuit preferred; GPA 3.0/4.0 or higher preferred.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills with professionalism.
• Leadership with excellent verbal and written communication; self-starter and organized.

Responsibilities

• Contribute as a team member and support team goals.
• Conduct qualitative analysis and present findings to team/client.
• Perform quantitative analyses using MS Excel and other tools.
• Support client project teams and manage client expectations.
• Create workflow/process maps and accounting policies/documentation.
• Assist with AR/AP and bank reconciliations; document procedures.
• Balance sheet reconciliation and improved processes.
• Work with compliance, Excel modeling and pivot tables.
