Job summary

Cherry Bekaert LLP in Louisville, KY, is seeking a Financial & Accounting Outsourcing Intern to support team objectives, perform qualitative and quantitative analyses, and assist with client projects using Excel and other tools.

You will gain hands-on experience across accounting workflows, reconciliations, and process documentation while learning from seasoned professionals in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA is preferred.
• Cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or above preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute as a member of the team by proactively looking for opportunities to assist team members and by supporting the overall goals of the team.
• Conduct research and perform qualitative analysis on findings to present to the team and/or client.
• Conduct quantitative analysis using a variety of tools including MS Excel, etc.
• Work with team members and clients at all levels, support client project teams, and manage expectations of clients and management.
• Create accounting policies & procedures documentation for clients' businesses.
• Balance sheet reconciliation, write up processes for how this is currently done, and how can be done better.
