Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Dallas, TX or Orlando, FL seeks a Manager for the Missiles and Fire Control Financial Accounting & Reporting team to guide a skilled group and coordinate cross‑functional reporting.

You will lead month‑end close, drive process improvements, review staff work, and prepare for the 1LMX ERP implementation, partnering with other LM finance teams.

Candidates should have a BA in Accounting/Finance and 10+ years of experience, SAP knowledge, and strong US GAAP expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
• Month-end close, consolidation, and financial reporting experience.
• Knowledge of SAP, accounting processes, and supporting multiple company codes.
• Demonstrated ability to perform reviews of staff work and provide constructive feedback.
• Demonstrated experience with the application of US GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Leading the team through month-end close.
• Managing monthly accounting processes with focus on ERP conversion and internal controls.
• Review of completed staff work.
• Support and prepare for the 1LMX LM Financials implementation.
• Connect with other LM finance teams supporting MFC accounting activities.
• Coach, train, and provide feedback to the team.
