Job summary

AbbVie offers a paid 11-week Accounting & Finance Internship with rotations across Commercial, Operations, R&D and Corporate finance. You’ll work on meaningful assignments impacting business and patients worldwide, developing analytical and problem-solving skills in a dynamic pharma environment.

Ideal candidates will blend technical knowledge with leadership potential, pursuing finance or accounting degrees and maintaining GPA requirements. Lake County, IL placement possible.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in finance and/or accounting with expected graduation Dec 2027–Aug 2028.
• Must be enrolled the semester following internship.
• GPA 3.00+ and coursework in cost or managerial accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in four functional areas: Commercial, Operations, R&D, and Corporate finance.
• Support budgeting, planning, forecasting and financial reporting tasks.
• Apply analytical skills to support data-driven decision making and process improvements.
• Collaborate with teams and participate in development rotations and projects.
