Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 1–3 years of finance or accounting experience.
• Strong Excel skills for reconciliations and reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong analytical skills to spot discrepancies, trends, and potential issues.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to quickly learn financial systems and software.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Run financial reports and prepare supporting information for tax schedules and filings.
• Support the preparation and submission of state and local tax filings and extensions.
• Prepare the daily cash balance report and assist with cash transfers
• Monitor banking activity and follow up on outstanding checks and unclaimed property requirements
• Assist with preparing financial reports and ensure transactions are recorded accurately
• Review incoming correspondence and route or resolve requests as needed
• Provide administrative support to finance leadership, including records management and filing
