Johnson County Community College seeks a Finance Accountant to manage financial operations, reconciliation, and regulatory compliance. This role maintains the general ledger, monitors cash flow, and oversees fixed assets, grants, and contracts while supporting audits and ERP processes.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree and 6+ years of relevant experience, preferably with higher education and Ellucian Banner, and possess strong analytical and communication skills.

Starting Salary Range: $56,353.00 - $73,290.00 and determined based on relevant years of work experience provided on application and resume.
The Finance Accountant supports the mission of JCCC by managing financial operations through accurate reporting, account reconciliation, and regulatory compliance. The role maintains the general ledger, monitors cash flow, and manages fixed asset accounting to ensure the integrity of financial records. Assists with grant and contract oversight, including fiscal monitoring and reporting. The incumbent contributes to internal and external audits, prepares financial analyses and Board reports, and supports ERP system processes. Requires strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively both independently and collaboratively.
