Job summary

Fabuwood Cabinetry Corp. in Newark, NJ is seeking a hands-on Ready-to-Ship Supervisor to oversee the final stage of production before cabinets are released for shipment. This role leads the team responsible for organizing completed orders and coordinating with Production, Quality, and Shipping to keep orders moving on time.

The ideal candidate is an organized floor leader who can set priorities, spot problems early, and follow through until they are resolved.

Qualifications

• Supervise a team in manufacturing, warehouse or distribution environments.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Ability to manage changing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced setting.
• Experience tracking orders and coordinating across departments.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily Ready-to-Ship operations and assign work based on order priorities and shipping deadlines.
• Monitor completed orders to ensure products are identified, organized, and ready for the next step in shipping.
• Coordinate with Production and Quality to resolve missing items, damage, or discrepancies.
• Work with Shipping to communicate order readiness and prevent delays.
• Track order status and maintain accurate records in company systems.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks and adjust priorities to keep work moving.
• Train, coach, and support team members on procedures, accuracy, productivity and safety.
• Maintain an orderly work area and ensure products are handled safely to prevent damage.
• Escalate issues that may affect order completion or shipment timing.
