Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or team-lead experience in manufacturing, production, warehousing, woodworking, cabinetry, or a related environment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage employees and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable addressing performance, attendance, quality, and safety concerns.
• Ability to prioritize responsibilities and make sound decisions with limited supervision.
• Basic computer skills and experience completing production reports.
• Cabinet manufacturing or woodworking experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise production employees throughout the night shift.
• Conduct pre-shift meetings to review safety expectations, production priorities, staffing assignments, and potential concerns.
• Assign employees to workstations based on production needs, experience, and workload.
• Monitor workflow and production progress to ensure daily goals are achieved.
• Maintain an active presence on the production floor and understand what each team and workstation is working on.
• Address production delays, material shortages, staffing concerns, and equipment issues promptly.
• Ensure a clear and accurate handoff to the incoming shift.
