Job Title: Final Quality Control Inspector

Department: Quality

Report To: Quality & Compliance Manager

The position requires candidates to be U.S. persons as defined in ITAR, 22CFR 120.15 (U.S. Citizenship or Resident Alien Status)

The Final Quality Control Inspector is responsible for monitoring all processes involved in the production of Fiber Optic Components and Fiber Optic Cable Assemblies. The Inspector must ensure that quality standards are met at every step of the process involved in Fiber Optic Cable Assembly Manufacturing.

Essential Functions:

1. Inspect and verify fiber optic cable assemblies using visual inspection and standard measurement instruments (calipers, scales, rulers, etc.).
2. Read and interpret customer and internal drawings.
3. Read and interpret sales orders and customer contracts.
4. Verify that production meets specifications and contractual requirements.
5. Verify IL (Insertion Loss) Test reports.
6. Inspect in-process production by verifying conformance to drawings and work instructions.
7. Approve finished products by confirming specifications, customer, and internal requirements.
8. Approve reworks as documented on a Trouble Sheet and/or a Nonconformance Material Report (NCMR).
9. Document inspection results by creating a Certificate of Conformance (C of C) after all requirements are met.
10. Maintain measurement equipment by following calibration and operation instructions.
11. Identify and document non-conformances as required.

Required Education and Experience:

• One to two years of Quality Inspection experience
