Job summary

AdvancedPCB is hiring for a Final Inspector to ensure that finished PCBs meet customer requirements before delivery. The role emphasizes precise measurement, reading drawings, and performing controlled rework when needed, with attention to quality and traceability.

The position requires a high school diploma, at least one year in PCB manufacturing, and knowledge of IPC-6012/6013 and IPC-600. Overtime and teamwork are part of the job, with a pay range disclosed for California.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One year PCB manufacturing experience.
• One year knowledge of IPC-6012, IPC-6013.
• One year knowledge of IPC-600.

Responsibilities

• Perform Final Inspection on finished product to ensure compliance to customer requirements.
• Read customer drawings.
• Measure with calipers, micrometers, and pin gages.
• Perform rework as needed, including mask touch-up, material removal, burnishing, soldering, sanding.
• Verify acceptability of rework after completion.
• Identify and mark non-conforming product.
• Prepare standard and AS9102 First Article Reports.
• Verify certifications and reports are complete for final acceptance.
• Complete deliverables for customers and ensure accuracy.
• Complete department logs and yield data records.
• Perform preventative maintenance per schedule.
• Support other work areas or departments as required.
• Ability to work overtime as requested.
• Keep work area clean and organized.
