Job summary

The LEGO Group in Richmond, VA is seeking a Final Pack Line Leader to oversee a day shift on a 2-2-3 schedule. You will lead a packaging line, perform setup, ensure material readiness, and drive safety, quality, and productivity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Machine Operator or Line Leader in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading teams of 10 or more employees.
• Experience operating high-speed production equipment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong math skills including fractions, decimals, and measurements.
• Experience using manufacturing computer systems and machine interfaces.
• Experience performing minor mechanical repairs and equipment adjustments.
• Experience conducting preventative maintenance activities.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of a Final Pack packaging line while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Perform machine setup, adjustments, changeovers, and scale operations.
• Troubleshoot machine faults and escalate concerns when additional support is needed.
• Ensure materials are available and production runs smoothly to meet output goals.
• Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, and Production teams to reduce downtime and improve performance.
• Complete quality checks, production documentation, scrap reporting, and hourly tracking reports.
• Execute Autonomous Maintenance, 5S activities, and operational audits.
• Support and communicate effectively with team members while promoting a positive workplace culture.
• Maintain regular attendance and support overtime as needed to meet business demands.
