Temco Logistics is seeking a results-driven General Manager to oversee one of our premier Bakersfield locations and drive operational excellence in final-mile delivery.

With over 50 years of industry experience, Temco delivers world-class final-mile delivery and installation services to thousands of customers daily. The role emphasizes leadership, financial oversight, staff development, and a relentless focus on service quality.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations and/or logistics management.
• Strong knowledge of the home appliance delivery and installation industry.
• Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving operational success.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and time management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead site operations including financial performance and service delivery to meet objectives.
• Oversee Transportation and Warehouse teams with hands-on leadership for efficiency.
• Analyze financial and operational performance and implement improvements.
• Set performance expectations and foster accountability and results.
• Partner with HR to recruit, hire, and retain top talent.
• Develop and deliver training to align teams with standards and new initiatives.
• Ensure timekeeping, payroll, and company policies are followed.
• Promote a customer-first mindset across operations.
• Oversee administrative functions for efficiency, accuracy, and cost control.
• Build and maintain relationships with external vendors and partners.
