Job summary

Werner Enterprises offers a paid 11-week internship designed to connect classroom learning with real-world logistics experience. The program emphasizes collaborative work, real-world projects, and hands-on training across intermodal operations and systems like EDGE TMS, Blume, Tableau, and Skybitz.

Interns will participate in leader sessions, a mentor program, and various development activities while supporting daily operations, customer service, and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Currently attending an accredited college or university at a junior level pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Logistics/Transportation, Management, or Marketing.

Responsibilities

• Daily communication and problem solving with Werner's Intermodal carrier base.
• Tracking and tracing of Intermodal dray shipments.
• Collaboration with Werner departments to resolve issues.
• Assisting with Werner fleet and equipment needs.
• System training including EDGE TMS, Blume, Tableau, Railroad websites, and Skybitz.
