Job summary

The role requires 3+ years managing delivery teams or logistics, a high school diploma or equivalent (bachelor’s preferred), and strong leadership, safety, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years proven experience in managing delivery teams, logistics, or operations in a final mile or transportation setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of delivery drivers to ensure timely, accurate and safe deliveries.
• Monitor and manage daily delivery schedules to maximize operational efficiency.
• Conduct route audits and provide feedback to improve performance, safety and service.
• Apply workforce planning to attract talent and manage labor markets.
• Support a collaborative work environment through open communication.
• Ensure drivers comply with all safety policies and local regulations.
• Provide ongoing training and development for drivers and tools.
• Be the primary contact for drivers, addressing questions during shifts.
• Analyze performance metrics and implement improvements for efficiency and satisfaction.
• Handle delivery issues and customer complaints promptly to maintain satisfaction.
