Job summary

Bharat Forge Aluminum USA, Inc. seeks a Production Supervisor to lead the Final Inspection area and support teams in Tennessee. You will coordinate daily production, supervise staff, monitor quality, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

The role requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with maintenance and QA to meet customer demands with quality products.

Qualifications

• Coordinates production with the scheduler and shipping department.
• Supervises Final Inspection employees.
• Monitors Final Inspection quality and drives continuous improvement.
• Coordinates with the Q.C. department on corrective actions and quality issues.
• Communicates maintenance needs and coordinates repairs.
• Schedules overtime for staffing needs.
• Interviews, hires and disciplines employees.
• Administers training for new employees and evaluates results.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, coordinate and supervise daily production in Final Inspection and support departments.
• Maintain safety procedures and company policies within the department.
• Ensure production reports are accurate and completed on time.
• Foster open communication across departments to solve problems.

Description

Schedules, coordinates and supervises the daily production in the Final Inspection Department as well as support departments and to meet customer demands with quality products.

Requirements

• Coordinates production with the scheduler and the shipping department.
• Supervises Final Inspection employees.
• Monitors Final Inspection quality and continuously improve operations.
• Coordinates with the Q.C. department in corrective actions and other quality issues.
• Communicates to Maintenance and other departments maintenance issues and coordinates repairs.
• Scheduling people for overtime.
• Issuing RQF to order material for the department.
• Interviewing, hiring and discipline of employees.
• Supervises and administers training of all new employees and evaluate results regularly.
• Monitors and enforces safety procedures and rules and company policies.
• Maintains and monitors equipment's operative conditions throughout the department.
• Regularly checks productivity and helps solve and correct problems that occur throughout the shift.
• Maintains and facilitates open communication in the department and between departments.
• Ensures production report information is accurate and completed on time.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
