Job summary

Bharat Forge PMT Technologie LLC in Surgoinsville, TN seeks a Production Supervisor for the Final Inspection Department to coordinate daily production, supervise Final Inspection staff, and support other departments to meet customer demands with quality products.

Responsibilities include monitoring quality, coordinating with QC and Maintenance, scheduling overtime, hiring and training, enforcing safety and company policies, ensuring accurate production reports, and driving continuous improvement

Responsibilities

• Schedules, coordinates and supervises the daily production in the Final Inspection Department.
• Cooperates with the scheduler and the shipping department.
• Monitors Final Inspection quality and drives continuous improvement.
• Coordinates with the Q.C. department on corrective actions and quality issues.
• Communicates maintenance issues and coordinates repairs.
• Scheduling people for overtime.
• Issuing RQF to order material for the department.
• Interviewing, hiring and discipline of employees.
• Supervises and administers training of new employees and evaluates results.
• Monitors and enforces safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintains and monitors equipment operative conditions.
• Regularly checks productivity and helps solve problems during the shift.
• Maintains open communication within and between departments.
• Ensures production report information is accurate and timely.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
