Job summary

MSA, The Safety Company is seeking a Production Technician II for Final Assembly at our Cranberry Township, PA plant. The role is on 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM) with starting pay of $27.35/hour, and one opening.

Responsibilities include assembling and testing moderately complex instruments, transferring materials to shipping, inspecting, and maintaining related paperwork in the computer system. Strong dexterity and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months manufacturing or similar experience.
• Must attain ability to perform complex SAP transactions.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test (including set-up), moderately complex instruments and/or sub-assemblies requiring wiring and soldering.
• Transfer material to shipping dock.
• Perform visual inspections and minor repairs and rework.
• Complete and maintain relevant paperwork and input information in computer system.
• Read and understand drawings, work instructions and test procedures.
• Understand standard units of measure and set-up and interpret results of various measuring devices.
