Eaton is hiring a Final Assembly Technician II (1st Shift) in Greenwood, SC. This role assembles, wires, fits and modifies medium/high voltage assemblies and sub-assemblies, following drawings and supervisor instructions.

The hourly rate is $20.00, with eligibility for a variable incentive program. Responsibilities include mounting and wiring equipment, packaging for shipment, maintaining Kanban levels, inspecting assemblies, and supporting continuous improvement in a Lean environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete ISO/QC/checklists and packing/ship prep.

• Receive, label, pack, and prepare for shipment.
• Maintain Kanban inventory and report shortages.
• Inspect assemblies for quality and cleanliness.
• Respond to change notices and development needs.

Eaton’s ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking a Final Assembly, Technician II (1st Shift). The hourly rate for this position is $20.00 per hour. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.CORE HOURS: MONDAY - THURSDAY (5AM - 3PM)Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What you’ll do:In the Assembly Technician role, you assemble, wire, fit, and modify work in the manufacture of medium and high voltage, indoor and outdoor assemblies, breaker and auxiliary compartments, breakers, customer service orders, power modules, and any sub-assemblies associated with these.Work to manufacturing information, electrical and mechanical drawings, sketches, written or oral instruction from supervisor or engineering and to established procedures.Complete ISO checklists, quality checklists, customer checklists, feedback forms, and production lists for supervision, drafting, customer service, and engineering as required.Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wire operations as needed.Receive, pick, label, pack and prepare for shipment, all material and assemblies.Maintain minimum levels of Kanban inventory and report shortages to appropriate operators.Inspect all assemblies for loose or missing hardware and cleanliness.Respond to change notices, customer requested adjustments, and development needs.Qualifications:BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.Must have a minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience.No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
