Position Objective

A Final Assembly Technician I performs station assembly operations, including sewing and packaging heart valves in a clean room. Responsibilities include inspecting components with a microscope, following standard work methods, and practicing safe work habits to ensure efficient and safe production.

Responsibilities

• Sew and assemble sewing cuffs to specifications in a cleanroom environment.
• Inspect materials, components, and finished goods using a microscope.
• Maintain production and inspection records.
• Assist with monitoring, cleaning, and testing the cleanroom environment.
• Batch components for daily production.
• Be trained to sew all Mitrals, Aortics, and Conform_X product lines.
• Prioritize quality in all job functions.
• Maintain high quality and production standards.
• Adhere to Clean Room GMPs regarding behavior and attire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience in inspection, assembly, or intricate hand work preferred.
• Familiarity with FDA & ISO manufacturing practices preferred.
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, internet, email).
• Ability to read detailed instructions and drawings.
• Ability to use a microscope.
• Availability to work Monday-Friday, 5:00 am - 2:30 pm, with overtime and Saturdays as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Lift or bend with up to 25 lbs.
• Tolerance for cooler temperatures, noise, dust, odors, etc.
• Good or corrected eyesight and eye/hand coordination.
