Job summary

MSA Safety in Cranberry Township, PA, is hiring a Production Technician I for Final Assembly. The role focuses on assembling, testing, and packing products per procedures, with an emphasis on safety and quality.

The 3rd shift runs 11:00 pm – 7:00 am, and the starting pay is $22.90/hr plus a $1.00 shift differential. Ideal candidates have 3 months in electronics manufacturing, HS diploma, and the ability to read drawings, use measuring devices, and operate SAP and hand tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 months electronics manufacturing or related experience.
• Length of time to become proficient on the job is 6-9 months.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Follow predetermined procedures to assemble, modify and rework moderately complex products and sub-assemblies requiring wiring, soldering and connecting.
• Follow predetermined test procedures and perform minor troubleshooting at the assembly level to ensure proper operation of the instruments.
• Pack products and accessories according to customer specifications.
• Adherence to safety, housekeeping and quality standards as they relate to production and the company’s objective is required.
• Maintain production goals through productivity targets and cost containment by eliminating waste.
