Job summary

Stadler US is seeking a Final Assembly Team Lead (Mechanical) in Salt Lake City, UT to manage the electrical final assembly of passenger train systems, oversee assembly team workflows, and uphold safety and quality standards. You will read blueprints, coordinate with engineering and quality, and drive on-time production.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2–5 years in manufacturing, leadership experience, SAP familiarity, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of manufacturing or assembly experience.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• SAP experience preferred.
• Business fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead the precision installation of electrical and structural fixtures tailored for passenger trains.
• Lead the assembly team members to ensure they are following proper procedures and techniques
• Ensure that all products meet quality standards and are free of defects
• Develop continuous improvement strategies improving the assembly processes and increasing efficiency
• Enforce safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for all assembly team members
• Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering and quality control, to identify and resolve production issues
• Maintain accurate records and provide regular reports on production progress and performance
• Attend management meetings to discuss production goals and strategies
• Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

The Final Assembly Team Lead (Mechanical) is responsible for leading the electrical final assembly process, ensuring that products meet quality standards and are completed on schedule.

Key Activities

• Lead the precision installation of electrical and structural fixtures tailored for passenger trains.
• Lead the assembly team members to ensure they are following proper procedures and techniques
