Job summary

Opti Staffing is hiring a Final Assembly Mechanic in Sherwood, Oregon. You will build heavy equipment from ground up, following blueprints, with exposure to hydraulic and electrical systems. The role requires 3+ years of mechanical assembly and blueprint reading.

Compensation is $24–$29 per hour, Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, paid holidays and PTO, tuition reimbursement to a PSU master's, and employee store access.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of mechanical assembly experience.
• Diesel mechanic experience is a huge plus, but not required.
• Strong blueprint reading skills.
• Hands-on experience with hydraulics and/or electrical systems.
• Attention to detail and adaptability across multiple product lines.

Responsibilities

• As a Final Assembly Mechanic, you will primarily build new heavy equipment from the ground up with minimal repair work.
• You will assemble large, fabricated components for farming, logging, and other heavy machinery from blueprints and drawings.
• Exposure to hydraulic and electrical systems and multiple product lines.
