Job summary

Dakota Bodies LLC is seeking a Final Assembler to join the overnight? no, day shift team in Watertown, SD. You will finalize assembly by wiring, installing shelves, light packages, and hardware, ensuring quality before shipment. You must read prints and work with a team to meet daily production goals.

Ideal candidates have good time management, basic assembly experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Overtime is available on Fridays to meet deadlines and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Must read and interpret prints.
• Strong time management and teamwork.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and follow instructions.
• Manufacturing/assembly experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read prints and identify required parts.
• Identify and ship any loose parts.
• Wire the body as specified.
• Install shelves, dividers, and components.
• Ensure all ship loose parts are accounted for.
• Repair minor dents as needed.
• Load completed products onto trailers.
• Differentiate lighting packages and options.
• Adjust various latches and seals for fit.
• Install different types of windows, vents and fans.
• Lift up to 50 lbs.
• This position is the last stop in production before shipping to customers.

Responsible for the assembly of final material of the product before it leaves the building.
