Job summary

Westmor Industries is seeking skilled assemblers to join our team. If you enjoy precise assembly work with advanced equipment, this is the place for you.

You will install pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, perform post-paint assembly on trucks, read blueprints, and use tools safely to complete tasks. We offer weekly pay, medical, dental & vision insurance, a 401K with match, and on-the-spot bonuses. Day shift: Mon-Fri 6:00 am–4:30 pm.

Qualifications

• Mechanical background or experience.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Ability to read 1/8" gradations on tape measure.
• Repair shop experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install and integrate pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, including airline systems, with a high level of accuracy.
• Complete detailed assembly routines on trucks following the painting process, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Mount and secure prefabricated parts and assemblies onto trucks with precision and efficiency.
• Utilize blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to guide the assembly process and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Proficiently use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete complex assembly tasks safely and effectively.

Job Description

• System Installation Expertise: Install and integrate pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, including airline systems, with a high level of accuracy.
• Perform Post-Paint Assembly: Complete detailed assembly routines on trucks following the painting process, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Install Prefabricated Components: Mount and secure prefabricated parts and assemblies onto trucks with precision and efficiency.
• Read and Interpret Technical Documents: Utilize blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to guide the assembly process and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Operate Tools and Equipment: Proficiently use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete complex assembly tasks safely and effectively.

Compensation

• The starting pay range for this position is $20-$25 per hour. Final compensation will depend on various factors including: skills, experience, and location.

Day Shift

• Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
