Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a hands-on fin press and expander operator to produce fins and coils to exacting specifications in a U.S. operation.

You will set up, run, and adjust fin press and expander equipment, read and interpret drawings, and monitor quality throughout the production process. This role also involves supporting training of team members and adhering to safety and production standards.

Qualifications

• Must be flexible, problem solving oriented, able to adapt to change and show initiative to learn and improve in the workplace.
• Set up fin press (twisting & turning) 25%, operate fin press (standing) 50%, remove fins from machine 25%.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a fin press for various fins per inch and corrugation.
• Set up and operate an expander for various coil widths, lengths, depths and designs; coil assembly.
• Recognize malfunctions of equipment versus improper setup and read/interpret drawings; assist in training personnel as required.
