Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a hands-on fin press and expander operator to produce fins and coils to exacting specifications in a U.S. operation.

You will set up, run, and adjust fin press and expander equipment, read and interpret drawings, and monitor quality throughout the production process. This role also involves supporting training of team members and adhering to safety and production standards.

Position Description

Setup and operate a fin press and/or a mechanical expander per instructions from a Group Leader to produce fins or complete coils of acceptable quality.

Key Responsibilities

This positionrequires the ability to setup and operate a fin press for various fins per inch and corrugation, setup and operate an expander for various coil widths, lengths, depths and designs and coil assembly. This position is also responsible for recognizing malfunctions of equipment versus improper setup when products do not agree with drawings, have the ability to read and interpret drawings, ability to use various measuring instruments and assist in training personnel as required.

• Performs other duties as assigned
• Assists in personnel training as required

Required Education & Qualifications

Must be flexible, problem solving oriented, acceptable to change and display initiative to learn and make improvements in the workplace. Set up fin press (twisting & turning) 25%, operate fin press (standing) 50% and remove fins from machine (bending & stooping) 25%.
