Job summary

Actus Nutrition is hiring a Filtration Operator for our Jerome West Plant in Jerome, Idaho. You will operate RO, separators, UF, nano filters, and pasteurizers to keep production running smoothly and safely.

The night shift runs 5pm–5am, with every other weekend off. Compensation is $26.29 per hour plus a $1.50 night-shift differential. Applicants should have prior machine operator experience and be willing to learn forklift operation as needed.

• Previous machine operator experience or equivalent skills.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Licensed forklift operator or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Operate RO/Separator/UF/Nano/Pasteurizer equipment in an efficient and productive manner.
• Monitor filtration equipment and silo areas for leaks and deficiencies, report to supervisor.
• Pull liquid samples and analyze to adjust operation parameters.
• Track incoming product for upcoming production runs and maintain production records.
• Maintain proper documentation for production runs and CIP’s.
• Keep silos, lines, and documentation clean and organized.

We are currently seeking a Filtration Operator to join the team at the Jerome West Plant located in Jerome, Idaho. The Filtration Operator is responsible for operating the RO/Separator/UF/Nano/Pasteurizer in an efficient and productive manner.

Shift:

Nights, 5pm-5am, with every other weekend off.

Pay:

$26.29 per hour (+ $1.50 night-shift differential)

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Communicate with all departmental operators to efficiently manage silo space and production schedules. Any issues should be reported to a shift lead/supervisor/manager in a timely manner.
• Monitor the filtration equipment and silo areas for leaking gaskets, airlines, pump seals, and any other operational deficiencies, and report immediately to maintenance/shift lead/supervisor/manager.
• Must pull liquid samples and use analysis for adjusting operation parameters.
• Monitor, plan, and track all incoming product for upcoming production runs.
• Check all silo temperatures and solids; document this information on the daily production report.
• Trace product lines and track the locations of all products being transferred.
• Maintain the filtration equipment, ensuring that all product specifications meet specified parameters.
• Maintain proper documentation for production Runs and CIP’S.
• Maintain clean silos, lines, and documentation.
