Job summary

Mayfran International seeks a skilled Filtration and Chip Processing Engineer to advance filtration systems and chip handling solutions. You will evaluate requirements, develop technical approaches, and coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, and vendors.

You will help optimize coolant filtration, chip conveyors, shredders, wringers, and related equipment, contributing to reliability and throughput. A strong CAD background and field problem-solving are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical/industrial engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in filtration systems, chip processing, conveyors, or related equipment.
• Experience reviewing technical drawings, layouts, and bills of material.

Responsibilities

• Reviews customer specifications and process requirements to recommend filtration and chip processing solutions.
• Develops concepts and equipment selections for coolant filtration, central systems, conveyors, shredders, and wringers.
• Performs calculations for flow, filtration, chip volume, sizing, and coolant recovery.
• Prepares layouts, proposals, cost estimates, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Collaborates with Mechanical, Electrical, Controls, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sales, and Service teams to deliver projects.
• Provides technical support and troubleshooting for performance and field issues.
• Evaluates processes to reduce coolant usage, improve chip handling, and increase uptime.
• Assists with new product development, testing, and documentation updates.
• Communicates with customers and vendors about requirements, status, and issues.
• Occasional travel for installation, troubleshooting, or product development.
