Stage32 is seeking an experienced Film Sales & Distribution Agent to help monetize a futuristic sci-fi short. You will develop a practical distribution strategy, identify commercial channels, and drive revenue through licensing, streaming, and partnerships.

The role emphasizes building relationships with buyers, distributors, broadcasters, and digital platforms. You will negotiate deals, advise on pricing, and craft release plans for domestic and international markets.

Qualifications

• Experience in film sales, distribution, licensing, media partnerships, content acquisition, or digital monetization preferred.
• Must be able to explain previous distribution or sales experience and the markets/platforms they have worked with.
• Existing buyer/distributor relationships are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

We are producing an original futuristic sci-fi short film created with a combination of AI filmmaking and cinematic production techniques. The film is currently in post-production, and we are looking for an experienced Film Sales & Distribution Agent who can help us develop and execute a practical monetization and distribution strategy.

The selected person will help identify the best commercial channels for the film, approach potential buyers and distribution partners, and advise our team on how to generate sustainable revenue from the project.

We are especially interested in opportunities involving streaming platforms, digital distributors, television channels, YouTube and social-video monetization, AVOD/FAST platforms, international licensing, film buyers, festivals, brand partnerships, sponsorships, and other legitimate commercial distribution channels.

Responsibilities include identifying suitable markets and platforms, contacting buyers/distributors, presenting and pitching the film, negotiating potential deals, advising us on pricing and licensing structures, recommending the best release strategy, and helping us understand which revenue channels are realistically worth pursuing.

We are looking for someone who understands both traditional film distribution and modern digital monetization. Existing relationships with distributors, streaming platforms, broadcasters, content buyers, sales agencies, or digital media companies are highly valuable.

This is intended as a results-oriented collaboration. We are open to discussing commission, revenue sharing, or profit-sharing based on successfully completed distribution or licensing deals. We are particularly interested in building a longer-term relationship if the collaboration performs well.
