Job Title: Filling Line Operator, 1st shift
Reports to: Production Supervisor
Department: Production
Summary:
Consists of working on a manufacturing assembly line. Job could consist of making changes by hand or by running machinery equipment.
Duties:
Placing empty cans on the turn table to feed the filling machine
Putting a dauber in can and tightening it down
Packing the finish product
Stacking finished cartons on skids
Pulling/pushing skids of cans or finished goods
Maintaining quality standards
Keep area clean
Following all safety procedures

Qualifications:
To perform the job successfully, and individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education/ Experience - High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Ability – Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to employees of the organization
Mathematical Ability - Ability to add and subtract two digits numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s. Ability to perform these operations using units of weight measurement, and volume.
Reasoning Ability - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
