This role performs routine equipment checks, troubleshoots basic issues, maintains a clean work area, and upholds all safety and quality standards to support consistent, high quality production.Supervisory Responsibilities:None.Duties/Responsibilities:Assists with operating filling equipment to fill, cap, seal, label, and package products according to specifications.Assists in maintaining adequate supplies of packaging materials, including cartons and caps.Supports production flow by clearing jams, spills, and manually operating equipment when necessaryAdheres to health, safety, and food quality regulations (e.g., GMP, HACCP, FDA, SQF)Performs basic quality checks, including monitoring product weight and verifying gable codes.Performs dye and peroxide checks as required to support quality control requirements.Completes required documentation for quality checks and packaging material tracking.Assists with setup and monitoring of gable printers and other coding equipment.Assists with CIP and SIP processes to support sanitation and product integrity.Communicates with other departments and promptly reports issues that may impact production efficiency, including food safety or quality concerns.Works with peers to train and develop training materials.Performs other duties as assigned.Required Skills/Abilities:Documentation: Basic computer skills for tracking production data and filling out logs/SOPsOperational Proficiency: Ability to perform product changeovers, set up machinery, and perform mathematical calculations for measurements.Technical & Mechanical: Proficient in operating, cleaning, and performing preventive maintenance on filling machines. Troubleshooting skills for identifying jams or malfunctions.Quality & Safety Control: Strict adherence to safety standards (e.g., OSHA, PPE) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
