Job summary

Gemini Industries in Grand Prairie, TX is seeking a Fill-Off Operator to support the filling line and collaborate with the facility team. You will operate fill-by-weight machines, monitor weights and container quality, and ensure lids are sealed and labels applied accurately.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and strict adherence to safety SOPs, with day shift responsibilities and overtime as needed.

Qualifications

Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
High School Degree or equivalent.
Basic math skills (addition/subtraction).
Ability to work in a team environment and cross-functionally.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and cleanliness.
Good interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to work safely and follow SOPs.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Ability to operate fill-by-weight machines, labelers, palletizers, etc.
Ability to operate forklift.

Responsibilities

Monitor incoming quality of containers; ensure adequate supply for uninterrupted filling operations.
Calibrate and operate filling machines; verify product and weights per batch ticket.
Ensure lids are properly sealed on containers.
Supply empty pallets and offload full pallets as needed.
Ensure correct labels and adhesive; monitor label/ container appearance.
Follow safety, environmental and regulatory guidelines; keep work area clean.
Perform other duties as assigned.
