Overview

LA Injury Attorneys is a dynamic Burbank based personal injury law firm seeking a File Clerk/Backup Receptionist for immediate consideration.

Responsibilities

• filing records away in alphabetical or numerical order
• managing all database records
• retrieving files/documents as necessary
• maintaining a clean and organized file space (physical and electronic)
• answering multiple phone calls throughout the day
• completing initial intakes from potential clients
• sending referrals via email/telephone
• sorting and scanning incoming mail
• copying, scanning, faxing, labeling, and entering data into our case management system
• closing files and preparing all related correspondence
• mailing payments to providers and arranging for clients to receive their settlement checks
• greeting current clients and potential new clients as they enter the office and directing them to staff

Qualifications

• valid driver?s license, own transportation, and authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis for any employer
• strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 2010 Word, Excel, and Adobe PDF
• typing speed of at least 65 wpm
• excellent organizational skills and time management; ability to multi-task in a busy, fast-paced environment
• ability to lift up to 15 pounds to move physical files and documents
• experience with FileVine case management program is preferred, but not required
• Spanish speaker is required, as the client base is mostly Hispanic and daily contact with Spanish-speaking clients
• excellent oral and written communication skills; team player with a service attitude; ability to maintain effective relationships with attorneys, staff, and the public
• flexibility to work overtime

Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
