X-Bow Systems in Sacramento, CA is seeking a Winder - Filament Winding Operator to join our aerospace manufacturing team. You will operate filament winding equipment, set up and calibrate machinery, and monitor production to meet quality specs.

Responsibilities include cross-training with senior technicians, collaborating with production and engineering teams, performing routine maintenance, and assisting in training new staff while maintaining a clean, organized workspace to minimize downtime.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational training or technical certifications preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate complex machinery.
• Basic understanding of composite materials and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Responsabilidades

• Operate filament winding equipment to produce high-quality composite components.
• Set up, calibrate, and maintain winding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
• Work closely with experienced team members to develop expertise in filament winding operations.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support manufacturing goals and deadlines.
• Assist in training new team members on filament winding processes and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance on filament winding equipment to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues with equipment or processes, implementing solutions as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to support efficient operations.
• Conduct inspections of finished components to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Document production processes and report any deviations or issues to the supervisor.
