Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or military experience required.
• At least 4 years of experience in credit underwriting, portfolio management or asset management.
• Experience in financial analysis and credit structuring preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform due diligence on industry and company performance; synthesize research and begin to draw conclusions.
• Perform thorough financial analysis and identify disparities, risks, and mitigants.
• Prepare financial modeling inputs with little guidance; understand model mechanics and overrides.
• Analyze structuring options considering collateral and borrower valuation.
• Write and prepare credit approval documents and participate in deal reviews.
• Coordinate and complete closing process requirements.
• Shadow more senior underwriters on reviewing and negotiating legal documentation.
• Communicate with internal/external stakeholders with urgency to meet client requests.
• Prepare term sheets, commitment letters and pricing documents with guidance.
