Job summary

Texas Water Development Board is seeking a qualified professional to serve as the Water Supply & Infrastructure subject matter expert for the Flood Infrastructure Fund. You will guide program administration, by managing invitations, funding allocations, and project oversight, ensuring compliance with state statutes and agency guidelines.

The role requires strong communication, policy interpretation, and experience with financial assistance programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, planning, science, business, finance, or related field.
• Three years (III) or seven years (IV) of progressive experience in financial assistance, capital improvement, infrastructure, grants, loans, or project delivery programs.
• Knowledge of state and federal financial assistance programs.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the Water Supply & Infrastructure subject matter expert for FIF funding program.
• Oversees the invitation process for the FIF program.
• Oversees the allocation of funding for the FIF program.
• Assists with flood project implementation and site visits.
