Job summary

The City of Fort Worth Water Department is seeking an Engineer Project Coordinator to lead design and management of water and wastewater projects within the In-House Design Section (Capital Delivery). This role focuses on coordinating projects, inspecting designs, and managing contracts to support Fort Worth’s evolving infrastructure.

You will work under a Senior Professional Engineer, contribute to procurement activities, and help prepare cost estimates and change orders while engaging with the

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Engineering Technology.
• Four (4) years of civil engineering, water/wastewater design, construction, or project coordination experience.
• Valid driver's license in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate city infrastructure projects that improve daily life for Fort Worth residents.
• Apply civil engineering expertise to design, inspect, and manage contracts for water/wastewater improvements.
• Prepare, review, and evaluate bids, cost estimates, and change orders.
