Job summary

ArborMetrics is seeking a Work Planner in Saginaw, MI to join our outdoor field team. You will safely drive to sites, inspect vegetation work, document data, and support field operations while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires knowledge of tree species, hazard assessment, GIS usage, and strong communication skills. Benefit packages begin Day 1, with additional programs after probation and ongoing training to obtain industry certifications.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of tree species identification, hazard tree assessment, invasive species management.
• Ability to hike/ROWs and drive long hours.
• Experience with GIS software and Microsoft Office; iPhone proficiency.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; problem solving and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Identify and report safety hazards, incidents, and unsafe conditions.
• Safely drive to work sites and hike rights-of-way, inspect and document vegetation work.
• Address customer concerns and maintain positive relations with leadership, auditors, clients, contractors, landowners, and the public.
• Participate in storm and emergency response duties as needed.
