Qualifications

• 2+ years of related experience.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must obtain 2 relevant certifications from NRC, NICET, WACEL, ACI, IFC, AWS, ASNT, ASTM.
• Must be able to lift 40–70 lbs multiple times a day; occasionally 85 lbs to waist height.

Responsibilities

• Perform observations, testing, inspections, and sampling of construction materials.
• Test structural steel and reinforcing steel; inspect welds and connections per standard procedures.
• Collect data, perform calculations, and draft reports as required; maintain field equipment.
• Communicate daily with site contractors and project managers; relay site conditions and testing needs.
• Receive ECS methodology training and document findings with engineering precision.
