Job summary

TIC - The Industrial Company is seeking an Intermediate-level welder to join our construction and industrial sites. The role focuses on welding, installation, and repair of structural steel per plans and codes, with emphasis on safety and quality.

You will set up and operate multiple welding processes, interpret weld symbols, and perform repairs as needed. The job requires physical stamina and ability to work overtime on a daily basis.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with field experience is preferred.
• Welding test with quality standards must be passed.
• Ability to pass drug and alcohol screening and medical clearance.
• Adherence to safety and project rules on site.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, troubleshoot and operate welding machines per job specs and procedures.
• Preheat and weld metal components per blue prints, symbols and specs.
• Weld various processes FCAW-S, FCAW-G, TGAW, GMAW, SMAW, SAW.
• Operate grinders, gouger, stress-relieving equipment and other tools.
• Perform welding repairs and fix substandard welds.
