Job summary

Viva Railings is seeking a Welding Associate to join our team in Texas. You will weld and fabricate premium railing components using TIG and Stick processes, interpret detailed blueprints, and perform precision cutting to maintain our quality standards.

You will collaborate with field crews, select appropriate fillers, and ensure high-quality surface finishes through deburring and grinding. Travel to job sites up to 300 miles away may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of TIG welding experience is essential.
• Current and valid welding certification is highly desirable.
• Previous experience working on construction sites and familiarity with power tools is required.
• Understanding of construction site safety procedures is crucial.
• Willingness to travel to job sites located up to 300 miles away.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints and execute tasks with accuracy to Viva Railings' standards.
• Perform TIG, Stick and other welding per project requirements.
• Execute field installation welds, including sheeting and posts.
• Demonstrate good judgement when selecting fillers per guidelines.
• Collaborate with field labor crew to ensure efficient installations.
• Perform deburring and grinding to achieve smooth surface texture.
