Job summary

Trinity Industries, Inc. in Fort Worth, TX is hiring a Career Welder to join our manufacturing team. You will apply MIG and FCAW welding to join, surface, fabricate and repair metal parts per blueprints and work orders, with attention to quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of related experience.
• Experience with MIG and FCAW is required.
• FCAW (2G, 3G & 4G).
• Ability to weld out of position (vertical & overhead).
• May require working above ground (15 ft or more).
• Must be able to climb ladders or stairs to reach objects and comfortable with heights.
• May require working in narrow or confined workspace for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Hand weld in all positions, fillet and groove.
• Perform repairs to subassemblies for final product.
• Perform oxy-fuel welding.
• Perform carbon arc welding.
• Conduct one or two NDE tests.
• Follow all safety rules and practices.
• May be involved in safety committees or initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
