Job summary

Fabcon is seeking a general construction laborer to support a welding crew responsible for erecting precast concrete panels. You will perform general labor tasks, follow foreperson directions, and assist with various duties on site.

Attention to safety and efficient use of materials is essential in this role. The job requires the ability to travel as needed and to work at heights, with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Welding experience required.
• Must be able to follow verbal instructions.
• Must work well with others and maintain professional conduct.
• Must be able to work from heights, including ladders and aerial work platforms.
• Must obtain membership to a local union.

Responsibilities

• Complete general construction labor tasks to weld precast concrete panels.
• Takes work direction from detail or erection crew foreperson.
• May perform work of a miscellaneous nature as directed by foreperson.
• Uses materials/supplies in an efficient manner.
• Handles equipment in a responsible manner and follows safety procedures.
