Qualifications

• 1 year in paid patient care experience (not family caregiver).
• Clinical or engineering background (nurses, cardiac device sales reps, clinical engineers, cath lab techs, PAs, or ECG technicians).
• Willingness to pay an annual DME fee deducted from completed work order and credentialing upfront during probation.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record and ability to travel in the Eugene, OR area.

Responsibilities

• Fit and train local patients with a wearable defibrillator via assignments dispatched from corporate HQ; APS will be trained and certified.
• Provide instruction and instill confidence in Assure patients with patient care skills.
• Contact prescribers, caregivers, and patients to schedule services.
• Accept assignments including daytime, evening, and weekend hours.
• Travel to hospitals and patients' homes for fittings.
• Measure patient to determine correct garment size.
• Review and transmit essential paperwork to receive the Assure garment and services.
• Manage inventory of Assure system kits, garments, and equipment used in fittings.
• Adhere to confidentiality pledge and company policies.
