Granite Construction Incorporated is seeking a Drill Tech to support drilling operations at various outdoor sites. You will assist the Driller, handle drill pipe and site equipment, and help maintain safety and quality procedures in all weather conditions.

The role may require travel between sites and long shifts. Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, construction site or outdoor industry experience, and solid communication and organizational skills.

Formación

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Able to work in small teams successfully.
• Mechanical aptitude a plus.
• Must be dependable and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must have a clear driving record; valid driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Driller in conducting drilling operations and perform routine mechanical tasks.
• Lift and move drill pipe and materials up to 50 lbs; assist with heavier components.
• Operate and maintain service trucks and site equipment to ensure reliability.
• Transport drilling rigs between sites and set up job sites.
• Complete daily paperwork and maintain time/material records.
• Collect drill cutting or water samples for analysis.
