Job summary

Granite Construction is seeking a field position to assist a Driller in water well drilling operations at outdoor sites. This role requires travel between sites, lifting up to 50 lbs, and working long shifts in various weather conditions.

You will operate, maintain, and transport drilling equipment and contribute to safe, efficient project execution. Strong teamwork and reliable communication are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to travel and be away from home up to 2 weeks at a time.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist a Driller in water well drilling operations and perform routine mechanical tasks at drill sites.
• Operate and maintain drilling site equipment and vehicles to ensure reliability.
• Transport drilling rigs between sites and set up job sites for operations.
• Complete daily paperwork to maintain time and material records.
• Participate in safety and quality procedures on site.
