Job summary

DHI - Dalbo Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Water Treatment Operator to safely operate, monitor, and maintain DAF water treatment systems at company and customer sites.

This role requires hands-on experience with DAF, chemical dosing, water testing, pumps, generators, and related field equipment, outdoors in varying weather. You will adjust chemical dosing and equipment controls, record test results, and communicate operating conditions to supervisors and customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on water-treatment experience.
• Hands-on experience operating dissolved air flotation (DAF) systems.
• Experience with chemical treatment, chemical dosing, coagulation, flocculation, and solids separation.
• Experience performing water-quality testing and adjusting treatment processes based on test results.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and maintain DAF systems and related water treatment equipment.
• Mobilize, set up, start up, operation, shutdown, and demobilization of treatment systems.
• Monitor DAF performance: flow, pressure, air systems, recycle pumps, skimmers, sludge levels, solids removal.
• Adjust chemical dosing, flow rates, air pressure, and other treatment settings.
• Identify and report issues with pumps, chemical systems, skimmers, valves, hoses, and controls.
• Assist with troubleshooting performance, equipment failures, leaks, blockages, and maintenance.
• Monitor and manage sludge, recovered solids, and waste streams.
