Qualifications

• Education: B.S. in STEM discipline or 1 year of full-time experience at a drinking water or wastewater treatment plant.
• Experience: 1 year of experience in environmental consulting (preferred).
• Licenses: Valid driver’s license; obtain licenses such as Class A, I, WT1, WT2, DSS or state equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect wastewater systems and monitor compliance with environmental regulations.
• Perform water and wastewater sampling and provide field support for various water resource activities.
• Prepare accurate reports, certify data, and submit ahead of deadlines.
• Maintain data across spreadsheets and digital platforms for multiple facilities.
• Communicate with clients, state officials, and the Operations Manager regarding facility needs.
• Calibrate field equipment and participate in required external trainings.
