Job summary

Ion Solar is seeking an Inventory Crew Member to support warehouse operations and maintain accurate stock levels. You will conduct inventories, verify quantities and quality, and assist in organizing the warehouse efficiently.

The role requires forklift experience, data-entry proficiency, and the ability to meet deadlines while providing excellent customer service to staff and vendors. A valid driver's license is required for delivering and receiving stock.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical inventories to verify stock and identify losses.

Our dedicated team is committed to making solar energy accessible and affordable for homeowners across the country.We are currently seeking an Inventory Crew Member to support our warehouse operations. The Inventory Crew Member will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring the quality and quantity of orders, identifying stock discrepancies, and assisting in the efficient organization of the warehouse.Duties/Responsibilities:Conducts and participates in physical inventories to verify stock and identify losses.Evaluates warehouse materials (e.g. qualified product list, warehouse supplies, office supplies, etc.) to maintain quality.Loads and unloads delivery trucks to receive stock and/or fill orders for transport.Maintains physical and electronic documents, and files records (e.g. receipts, delivery logs, inventory, warehouse reports, material evaluation, etc.)Operates warehouse equipment (e.g. company vehicles, pallet jacks, trailers, etc.)Prepares reports to maintain accurate records for business service.Provides quality customer service to maintain an effective and efficient work environment.Receives stock and non-stock items to ensure specifications, quantity, and quality of orders are correct.Analyze discrepancies on orders and/or invoices (e.g. overages, shortages, duplicate deliveries, etc.) to correct errors and/or return damaged/incorrect items to vendors.Responds to inquiries of staff and vendors to provide information and/or direction regarding the invoices, billing, status of deliveries, etc.Required Skills/Abilities:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong supervisory and leadership skills.Ability to anticipate and solve problems.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to meet deadlines.Previous experience operating a forkliftProficient with data entry and inventory software and systems.Education and Experience:A high school diploma or equivalent is requiredPrevious experience working with Inventory analysisSolar or relevant experience is preferredMust possess a valid Driver's License and be willing to submit to a Motorized Vehicle ReportDriving Requirements:Must be at least 21 years oldMust have a clean driving record as determined by a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) checkPhysical Requirements:Prolonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders.Ability to move around the warehouse.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.Compensation/Benefits:Competitive wagesHealth/Vision/Dental Insurance401KPaid time off and paid holidaysPaid birthday offION Solar is an equal-opportunity employer.
