Job summary

Cox Automotive Inc. is seeking Mobile Inspectors to conduct on-site vehicle condition inspections for dealer clients across an assigned territory.

You will document condition accurately and timely following Manheim inspection standards, supporting trust, transparency, and inventory flow. Responsibilities include building strong dealer relationships, educating clients on Manheim Marketplace, and adapting to daily scheduling changes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record required.
• 0-1 Years Of Automotive-related Experience Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough vehicle inspections in accordance with Manheim inspection standards.
• Locate, start, move, inspect, and return vehicles safely on dealer client lots.
• Verify vehicle identification, VINs, mileage, sub-series, and options; ensure accurate system entry.
• Inspect and document exterior and interior vehicle condition and installed options.
• Perform basic mechanical checks across powertrain, drivetrain, and electrical components.
• Identify and document damage, missing components, or inoperable features.
